Downstream Data, Reporting Miscues

Audio

In this week’s episode of Analytics Neat we expand further upon data models and the impact of having the data model downstream from where the data is actually being collected.  Why are simplistic CDPs unable to fix the issue? We also dive into the money pit that is standard reporting and how to avoid some of the mistakes I’ve seen over the years. What type of reports should you focus on? All this and more in this week’s episode of Analytics Neat.  Thanks for listening!

Episode 5: Domopalooza 2018 and the Future of Business Intelligence Platforms

Audio

I had the pleasure of attending the Domo user conference, Domopalooza, in Salt Lake City last week.  This week’s episode of Analytics Neat outlines some of the key product updates and innovations coming to the Domo platform in 2018.  We also look at how their product development aligns against the larger trends in the Business Intelligence (BI) industry.  This is an interesting sector to keep up with, and one where we are seeing similar parallels to the trends in the virtual assistant world (i.e. Siri and Alexa).
